With over 20 years in the surveying industry Jeremy has gained considerable experience in surveying, planning, and engineering.  Jeremy’s experience includes the facilitation and delivery of complex resource consent approvals, resolution of land tenure issues, provision of engineering design and construction, through to project management, economic forecasting, and budgeting.  Jeremy leads the business and thrives off mentoring staff and providing them with the opportunity to be themselves and succeed.

Jeremy has delivered a multitude of land development and construction projects for private developers, local government, central government, and individuals.  Jeremy is dedicated to creating a relationship-based business and bringing the right teams of people together to get things done.

Jenny is an Environmental Professional with over 25 years experience delivering resource management and environmental project management expertise to a variety of industries, including multi-national corporates in the petroleum and mineral industries, local government, and planning, engineering and surveying consultancies.

Jenny has delivered planning and resource management services for commercial and residential land development projects; managed the coordination and implementation of all environmental aspects of a gold minesite in New Zealand; lead and managed selected regulatory functions for a local Territorial Authority, and project managed all aspects of soil and groundwater remediation associated with a large petroleum industry divestment program in Australia.

Kerry is a Senior Licensed Cadastral Surveyor with over 30 years of experience in the land development field.  Kerry has proven project management skills across a wide range of projects.  Kerry thrives on working with stakeholders to attain their development goals.

His excellent stakeholder relationship management skills, along with his strong technical knowledge of surveying, built through extensive experience, provides a sound basis to assist you in meeting the challenges and responsibilities facing the land development industry.

Andy is a planner with over 15 years’ experience in resource consent and planning management roles in small and large local authorities, including most recently as a planning team leader at Christchurch City Council before joining Elrick and Co.  He has gained a broad experience across a diverse range of residential, commercial and rural land-use and subdivision applications and designations. This includes complex hearings for large commercial developments such as supermarkets, roading designations, and a range of rural, residential and community facility activities. Andy is also experienced at presenting expert evidence to the Environment Court and attending Court assisted mediation, and has been involved in several Ministry for the Environment working groups related to national legislation.

Andy has completed MfE’s Making Good Decisions course, which is a requirement for RMA Commissioners, and has a significant depth of experience as a decision maker for resource consents and an acute awareness of the risks in the process. This affords him an excellent understanding of what Councils are looking for in applications, which in turn enables sound advice to clients to de-risk projects.

Jeremy is an environmental planning professional with 20+ years’ experience across resource management, consenting, environmental planning and public infrastructure work within local government and multi-disciplinary consultancy environments. His career includes leadership of planning teams, business operations and delivery of complex planning projects involving multiple stakeholders, technical disciplines and complex statutory processes.

He also has extensive experience in consent compliance, monitoring programme development and enforcement proceedings, adding a critical layer of risk management to all of his clients’ projects.

His technical skills and experience combine technical environmental planning knowledge with project and financial management – with client relationships central to his way of working. His project experience includes major 3 waters replacement programmes, municipal wastewater treatment plant discharges, wind farm developments and land development.

Jeremy believes that good relationships are central to great outcomes for his clients.

Simon is a Resource Management Planning Professional with a diverse background comprising over 28-years’ experience in the civil construction industry and advising Central Government, local authorities and the private sector on statutory planning matters.

Simon has managed the preparation of complex multi-disciplinary resource consents in the civil construction, quarrying and gravel extraction industries,  and held a Project Management/Resource Management Planning role relating to the demolition and rebuild works associated with the Canterbury Earthquake Event and the Kaikoura Earthquake Event.  Responsibilities included ensuring corporate compliance with resource consent conditions and Health & Safety at Work regulations.

Simon has considerable experience in establishing and leading multi-disciplinary project teams.  Simon’s technical strengths relate to complex consenting and plan change processes, including the development of consenting strategies, liaison with statutory authorities and other stakeholders, public and iwi consultation, the preparation of AEE, and management of hearing processes.

Lizzie has specialist skills in ecology and water resource management and previously worked as an Environmental Advisor at Mahaanui Kurataiao Ltd.  Whilst in this role, Lizzie facilitated mana whenua engagement processes with private individuals and local government.   She also provided professional planning and cultural advice to Local Government for the resource consent process and District Plan review.

Since joining Elrick and Co, Lizzie has been involved in preparing a variety of complex resource consent applications under Regional and District Plans.   These projects have included the preparation and lodgement of consent applications for air discharge, subdivision, gravel extraction and Papakāinga developments, and associated liaison with Council and key stakeholders.

Rhys is a senior leadership-level Surveying and Construction Technology Leader with 20+ years experience delivering complex infrastructure projects and shaping organisational capability across New Zealand and internationally.

With a proven track record of combining technical excellence, strategic leadership and commercial acumen to drive business performance, Rhys delivers outcomes for clients across survey, construction technology and digital delivery functions.

Rhys’s technical and industry experience extends to cadastral, construction, geodetic, hydrographic and monitoring surveying and also includes remote sensing (UAVs, LiDAR and mobile mapping) offering an unparalleled depth of technical expertise to the team.

Kyle is a Senior Licensed Cadastral Surveyor with over 15 years of experience on major infrastructure and land development projects, in New Zealand and Australia.

Kyle has a high attention to detail and thrives on resolving complicated surveying and engineering challenges, requiring comprehensive and defendable solutions.

His aptitude, knowledge and collaborative style of leadership is well suited to the challenges and responsibilities confronting the land development industry.

Chris is an experienced surveyor with a background in construction and land surveying. With practical knowledge across site development and infrastructure projects, Chris provides accurate and reliable survey solutions to support successful project delivery.  Chris’s expertise includes construction set-out, land surveying, site measurement, and spatial data management. He is highly proficient in industry-leading software including ArcGIS and AutoCAD, enabling efficient processing, analysis, and presentation of survey data. Known for his practical approach and attention to detail, Chris is an integral member of our team to ensure survey information is accurate, timely, and aligned with project requirements.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Planning with First Class Honours, and has over 12 years’ experience as a Resource Management Planner. Sarah has experience preparing and processing resource consents for local authorities throughout New Zealand, for a wide range of projects including residential and commercial developments and subdivisions.

Sarah enjoys working with clients, applicants and experts to work through issues and find solutions to ensure that development does not preclude environmental protection.

Haley is a skilled project, business, and administrative practitioner with over 20 years of global experience in industries such as construction, architecture, and government. She excels in process improvement, streamlining documentation, fostering effective stakeholder communication, and delivering custom reporting that ensures transparency and project success. With a deep sense of pride in supporting clients and a focus on efficiency, clear communication, and building strong relationships, Haley is dedicated to driving successful outcomes for both our team and our customers.

Currently advancing her qualifications in business and project management, Haley is further enhancing her ability to deliver innovative, client-centred solutions. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring the hill walks of Canterbury and finding activities that encourage her family to embrace new challenges.

Tricia is an experienced Accountant with over 20 years of experience in accounting, financial management, budgeting, payroll, compliance, and audit preparation. Throughout her career she has worked across South Africa, The Netherlands and New Zealand gaining extensive experience in a wide range of industries including education, legal, manufacturing, healthcare and professional services.

Tricia has a strong background in financial reporting, strategic budgeting, payroll management, regulatory compliance and supporting organisations with sound financial decision making.  Known for her analytical approach, attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, Tricia enjoys building efficient financial systems and helping businesses achieve their financial goals.

Tricia has recently joined Elrick & Co as a part-time Accountant where she is responsible for managing the firm’s internal accounting and financial operations.
