Our specialist planning team was engaged to consent this project under the COVID-19 Recovery (Fast-track Consenting) legislation. This project was one of 6 housing projects nationally to be consented. Our existing relationships with Te Puni Kōkiri staff enabled us to facilitate the project and work with EPA staff who were charged with implementing the legislation.
Makara Wind Farm
Elrick and Co were referred to Connect8 as specialists in large scale easement surveys in difficult locations. This project involved field surveys and Landonline definition of approximately 20km of easements through the Makara Farm wind turbine access.
Tuahiwi PapaKāinga Development
Elrick and Co were excited and proud to be involved in what was a significant milestone for the Iwi. Along side the build company, we provided full consenting, engineering design, and surveying services to help realise a project which had been a dream for Tuahiwi for over a century!

State Highway Roading Topographic Surveys (Rakaia, Wellington, Ohakea)
Bread and butter for the surveying team. State Highway surveys are detailed feature surveys of sections of road required by design teams for the upgrade roads and facilities. Elrick and Co are regularly called on by several large engineering firms to get these jobs done quickly and accurately.
Transportable Emergency Housing Project – Auckland
Elrick and Co were engaged to development several sites as temporary, emergency housing developments. These sites were unique in nature as the solutions required all infrastructure to be above ground and temporary!
